Project Developer

Are you ready to take a next step in your career and join our project development team in Malmö? If you have a passion for renewable energy, sustainability and you know how to lead projects effectively, you might be the person that we are looking for! As a Project Developer you will be working in a key role developing our renewable energy projects in Northern Europe. The focus of this position will be leading projects during and through the permitting process.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and driven team member with a “can do” attitude and a detail-oriented mindset. We highly value your great interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build strong lasting relationships both with the external stakeholders and our colleagues in the Nordics.

Main responsibilities

• Leading and driving project permitting
• Stakeholder interaction
• Driving permitting process and identifying potential deployment issues and possibilities
• Permitting process according to Swedish environmental law
• Permitting process, building permit
• Negotiations with landowners and stakeholders
• Making Europe self-sufficient with renewable and sustainable energy

What we expect from you
 

• Good knowledge of Swedish environmental code and permitting process
• Understanding of Swedish authorities and their processes
• Knowledge and previous experience of the EIA process
• A solid professional background with a previous experience for example as a consultant or working in the county board with permitting
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in applicable field (for example politics, environmental, or natural science)
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and verbal

The position is full-time and located in Malmö, SE with a possibility to work partly remote. The role will involve travelling, so we expect ability to travel at least 20-30% of your working time if needed.
